“Building for the future and keeping pupils safe”
RFe were contracted by Wates Construction Limited to design, supply, install, test and commission a sprinkler system including electric fire pump, cylindrical sectional water storage tank, GRP enclosure and void protection at Brambles Primary Academy, Kirklees. Funded by Kirklees Council, Brambles Primary Academy is a brand-new building designed to accommodate up to 420 pupils.
Our detailed designs met the following requirement - Ordinary Hazard Group 1 Property Protection using TB221 for schools, and in total we installed 309 x 15mm concealed sprinklers and 364 x 15mm brass sprinklers.
Our work was finished in April 2021 and the new building was fully completed in summer 2021, ready to welcome back pupils this September for the start of the new academic year.
