“Retrofitting to meet the specifications of the client’s insurance”
In 2019 Cofresh Snack foods purchased an additional food production and warehousing facility in Nuneaton to meet its expanding needs. RFe was contracted to carry out the retrofit of sprinklers systems to existing buildings, including food fryers/production areas & storage areas. All work was carried out the FM Global Standard in order to meet the specifications of the client’s insurance.
Protection against oil cookers accidental fire was a specific requirement and we provided a localised oil cooker deluge system to meet this need. The design, supply, and installation & commissioning of all works were undertaken in accordance with FM Global rules & all relevant FM data sheets.
RFe has developed a good working relationship with the client and now carries out all service and maintenance works, together with additional works due to further expansion.
