“Protecting a new build supermarket”
In 2019 RFe were contracted by Bowmer & Kirkland Ltd to design supply, install, test and commission a sprinkler system at a brand new Morrisons supermarket in Amble, Northumberland.
Work included including fitting an electric fire pump, diesel fire pump, GRP pump house and two 67.5m3 cylindrical water storage tanks for this 14,500 sq ft new build.
We carried out detailed designs and supplied the necessary pipe, fittings and fixings to install and commission the required sprinkler protection to protect the supermarket from potential fire damage.
The project was successfully finished in March 2020 on time on budget.
