Laurus Grace school

In March 2026 RFE successfully completed the design and installation of an Ordinary Hazard Group 1 (OH1) property protection sprinkler system at Laurus Grace Alternative Provision School in Stockport. The system was designed in accordance with TB221 for Schools and classified as Ordinary Hazard Group 1 (OH1). Full property protection coverage was provided throughout the building, including all required water supplies.

Our in-house team undertook the complete design process, including detailed hydraulic calculations and full 3D modelling, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the project.

  • Dedicated sprinkler water storage tank installation
  • GRP pump house enclosure installation
  • Complete in-house design and 3D modelling
  • Installation compliant with the LPC Rules incorporating BS EN 12845

The sprinkler pump arrangement was designed and installed to conform with the requirements set out in TB210 of the LPC Rules incorporating BS EN 12845, including compliance with TB210.3 requirements for pump set compartments.

The project was delivered successfully, on time and to budget, providing a robust and compliant fire protection solution for the school.
